The Zone3 Vision Wins 220Triathlon Magazine ‘Cutting Edge’ Award

The Zone3 Vision continues to build on its reputation as being one of the best suits on the market and has been awarded 220Triathlon Magazine’s ‘Cutting Edge’ award for the second year running.

The latest design of the Vision takes inspiration from the top of the range Zone3 Vanquish wetsuit, having adopted many successful features from the Vanquish, the Vision is proclaimed as being one of the world’s fastest entry-level suits designed for those on a budget, and for athletes who want to swim quickly and save energy, without negatively impacting performance. The Vision proves to be a suit for anyone who wants a high-quality suit at a not so high-quality price.

220Triathlon labels the Vision as ‘a quality suit with good features’ with a 90% rating. The Vision gains the response:

“The Vision is the priciest suit in this test, but you get a lot for your money with the long-standing favourite from Zone2, which has had some design tweaks for 2019 to build on an already impressive spec. First up, it’s easy to pull on thanks to the super-flexible (eco-friendly) neoprene. The Speedflo coating is fast in the water, while the quick-release cuffs make it the speediest to remove in T1. We sized down to a small/medium from our usual medium and, although this meant the sleeves and legs sat quite high up on the arms and calves. Moving down also meant less water ingress at the neck. Finally, the 2mm panel across the arms and shoulders gives plenty of flexibility through the stroke, and the 4mm in the lower body and legs keep the legs buoyant…this suit has a jazzy and silver back pattern, too.”

This 2019 award builds on the many accolades the Vision has received since its launch in 2017. Each year the Vision is reworked and redesigned to further improve it year on year. The 2019 Cutting Edge award proves that the Vision continues to be a reliable, fast, comfortable suit suitable for all triathletes.
